MY VISION

A Register of Wills Office That Grows With Charles County

Charles County is growing, and public service should keep pace.

My vision is to build on the important work of the Register of Wills with a more proactive, modern and community-centered approach to serving residents.

01-Prepare Before the Moment Comes

Too often, families first learn about the Register of Wills after losing someone they love.

I want residents to understand the role of the office earlier, including during important life milestones, so they know where to turn and are better informed before a difficult moment arrives.

03- Take the Office Into the Community

Charles County is growing, and our outreach should reflect the community we serve.

I want to expand the office's presence by connecting with residents through libraries, senior centers, faith communities, veterans' organizations, civic and neighborhood groups, schools, and community events throughout the county.

People should not always have to find the office.  Sometimes the office should find them.

02- Modernize the Experience

Accessing a public office should not be confusing.

I want to make online information easier to navigate and improve access to forms, instructions, and office resources so residents can find what they need more easily.
